# Logo changes go to review

Your logo is shown on the consent screen and on card links, the places a person decides to trust your application. A change to it is now reviewed the way a change of name is.

## What changed

Uploading, replacing or removing the logo of an approved application returns it to `pending`. It keeps working in sandbox, and live keys work again once Layout approves it. The help line beside the logo on **App details** says so.

## Why it matters

While an application is pending, live requests for people who are not test accounts are refused, over the API and over MCP.

## What to do

Settle your logo before you ask for production. If you need to change it later, plan for a short review, and email [developer@layout.link](mailto:developer@layout.link) with your application ID.

## Breaking changes

Yes. An approved application that changes its logo stops working live until it is approved again.
